The
controversies surrounding TV actresses
does not seem to end at all. After
the highly publicized suicides comes
a case of extra marital relationship.
Madhudevi, the daughter in law of
Dr. P. T. Manoharan, former Vice Chancellor
of Madras University committed suicide
a couple of weeks ago. Apparently,
she had been upset over the constant
dowry demands by her husband and inlaws
besides the extra marital affair with
actress Nirmala.

When
a case was filed against them, Nirmala
went into hiding with the help of
those with connections in high places.
Meanwhile, she has also filed for
anticipatory bail in case the police
round her up.
The Madras High Court ordered that
she could get the bail by making the
application at the Saidapet court
and appearing personally. |

A
large posse of media persons were present
at the Saidapet court but she came clad
in a burqa and rushed into the hall by hopping
from one car to another. She filled out
the forms and was granted anticipatory bail.
