Adding yet another feather to his cap, seasoned actor Anupam Kher now has the distinction of having shared screen space with one of Hollywood’s greatest actors, the legendary Robert De Niro in a film titled ‘The Silver Linings Playbook’.
The actor was recently seen walking the red carpet with the cast at the Toronto International Film Festival where it eventually won the ‘People’s Choice Award’ and thereby securing an automatic nomination for the upcoming Oscars.
The Hollywood flick which is directed by David O Russell, whose claim to fame include ‘The Fighter’ and ‘Three Kings’, features a stellar cast that includes Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Tucker besides Kher and De Niro. Kher has over 450 films under his belt and was earlier seen in cross-over and Hollywood productions like ‘Bend It Like Beckham’, ‘Mistress of Spices’ and ‘When You Meet A Tall Dark Stranger’.
