Shriya is currently in Thailand. The actress was having a whale of a time visiting various dive sites when things suddenly went sour for her there. She visited the Tiger Temple at the Kanchanaburi province, near Bangkok and was shocked to see that the tigers including the cubs were kept chained by the monks in the temple.

It is an inhuman practice to capture these wonderful creatures and then keep them chained so that tourists can play with them or feed them or pose for photos, she said. The worst part was that they were selling SAVE THE TIGER tee shirts even as they themselves were so cruel to the beasts, Shriya complained.
