Prakash Raj can scarcely contain his excitement over his next film, Dhoni. Having directed his first Kannada film, Naanu Nanna Kanasu the National Award winning actor and producer has taken up this new mantle with Dhoni which is a bilingual and will be released in Tamil and Telugu. With this film, Prakash Raj is playing a triple role as he will be the director, producer, and actor in it!
The National Award winner is passionate about this film and he is proud that music maestro Ilaiyaraja has come onboard this project. A live orchestra has been used as the maestro decided to honor Prakash Raj's special request for the same. Nowadays, in the technology age, each instrument is recorded seperately and then mixed but Dhoni will have music that reflects a simpler era.
Master Akash and Bollywood hottie, Mughda Godse who was seen in Fashion are the main protagonists. Guhan is the cinematographer, Kadhir will take care of art direction, TJ Gnanavel is writing the dialogue, lyrics will be by Na Muthukumar, and editing will be by National Award winner, Kishore. The film is being shot in Chennai and Hyderabad and is looking at a December release.
