Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated magnum opus Vishwaroopam finally seems to have an official release date. Going by the print ads issued today by the production house in charge, fans should earmark January 11th 2013 as it has been announced that the movie will hit cinemas worldwide and in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, on the aforementioned date.
The movie’s initial release date was postponed with the makers opting to present the film in the Auro 3D format in a bid to enhance the audience’s viewing experience. The audio launch too suffered postponement because of nature’s fury and as Behindwoods earlier reported, the music release is now expected to take place in the first week of December at Chennai’s Nehru Stadium and the organizers are busy preparing themselves for the same.
Kamal Haasan's previous January release was Virumaandi which released on January 14th 2004 as a Pongal special.
