Parthiban’s 50th film Vithagan is certified by the censor board officials with a U/A certificate. With that, the movie is likely to be released by the end of this year. Vithagan is produced by Manickam Narayanan and stars Parthiban and Poorna in the lead.
Vithagan follows the story of a bristly police officer played by Parthiban and an innocent Christian girl, who falls in love with him. Parthiban’s son Rocky also makes a cameo in the movie in a dance sequence. Earlier, Parthiban also revealed that his daughter Keerthana performed as an assistant director and costume designer for Vithagan.
