A legal notice has been sent to the producer of Thambi Vettothi Sundaram and the Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Council to stop that film from being released unless SS Sanjeev Keasavan, Legal Advisor, Tamil Nadu Line Ball Associates and others get to see the contents of the film.
Thambi Vettothi Sundaram’s producer Senthil Kumar, hero Karan and director VC Vadivudyan have reportedly gave word to the aggrieved party that they exhbit the film to them before its release to prove that it is not detrimental to the people of Kanyakumari district but this has not happened till date.
Therefore, the plea to have the film banned from screening is being put forth, states a press note.
