Karthi's Saguni is one of the eagerly awaited films this year. However, his fans are in for a disappointment as the release has been postponed from December to January, 2012. According to Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, the delay was inevitable as Karthi also has to begin shooting for his untitled film with Suraj.
Karthi's last release, Siruthai which was a blockbuster was released for Pongal this year and perhaps Saguni is also headed for a Pongal release. The makers will be hoping that it is yet another golden Pongal for them.
