Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan's Gabbar Singh was released yesterday. The film is a remake of Salman Khan's Dabaang which was also remade in Tamil as Osthe with STR and Richa Gangopadhyay. Gabbar Singh has opened to rave review and experts feel that it is likely to do great business.
Despite the fact that it is entirely Pawan Kalyan's show, Shruti has created a favorable impression with her rustic belle act. Sonakshi Sinha in the original version went on to become the rage and it was felt that Richa's performance did not match up in the Tamil version. Shruti however seems to have done justice to the role.
