Samuthirakani shot to fame after playing the villain in Sasikumar’s super hit film Subramaniyapuram and later followed up his popularity by directing the hit film Nadogigal which starred Sasikumar and Jai. The Sasikumar-Samuthirakani combo is back again with Porali which will be directed by Samuthirakani.
Anjali and Trisha were considered to play the heroine but both of them bowed out due to various reasons and the role has finally fallen onto Swathi’s lap. Swathi also gained popularity with her role in Subramaniyapuram. Apart from these two the film will also star popular Telugu hero Allari Naresh. Recently a fight scene was canned for this movie in Theni and it had stunt master Dileep Subbarayan choreographing the stunts. We hope the combo proves to be a winner again!
