Azhagan Azhagi is a film that has Jo and Aarushi entering the filmdom as hero and heroine respectively. The rest of the cast are being finalized. Azhagan Azhagi is being produced by S Gururaja of Green Cinemas. Nanda Periyasamy, who has films like Mathi Yosi to his credit, is directing this film and has also penned the story, screen play and dialogues.
The director has said that he has taken up a very big issue that this country is facing today and has included adequate dosage of love and comedy to make it an entertaining movie. Kannan has scored the music for the songs written by Na Muthu Kumar and Snehan.
