Silambarasan's Vaalu will go on floors today. A short term project, this will be finished in a single schedule and will be released for Diwali according to production sources. Vaalu is a love story and is about a youngster who lives in the railway quarters in Chennai. It will have Hansika playing the female lead and Santhanam at the helm of affairs in terms of comedy.
Nic Arts Chakravarthy produces Vaalu. Thaman scores for the movie and Sakthi is roped in to take care of cinematography. Vaalu is Silambarasan's release after last year's Osthi. As a precursor, Vaalu's teaser is also released today and Simbu fans are busy giving it good mileage in cyber space.
