Richa Gangopadhyay will be making her debut with Selvaraghavan's Irandam Ulagam opposite Dhanush. But the shoot got postponed as Selva is getting married this July. The debutant headed back to her hometown, Michigan for a break. But she was requested to fly down as the shoot for Dharani's Osthi with STR is scheduled to begin.

Richa flew down at once so that she could make it to the shoot on time. It took 36 straight hours of travelling, but she made it. The actress is thrilled that she has landed two big projects so early in her career. In Osthi, she will play the role, Sonakshi Sinha did in the Hindi version. It is considered a lucky role, that makes stars out of fledgling actors.
