Samuthirakani may be considered as a talented director by many but an equal number would swear by his acting skills too. He has been roped in for a film called Saattai. The film will be produced by the makers of Myna-Prabhu Solomon and John Max's, Shalom Studios. The director is Anbazhagan who trained under Prabhu Solomon.
The film will take a hard look at the education scene today with Samuthirakani playing a school teacher. It will be an interesting premise based on the school system as it is and will send out a socially relevant message. Yuvan and National award winner, Thambi Ramiah will round out the cast.
