Actor Ajmal has had a steady start in the film industry. After portraying a series of villain roles in Anjathe, Ko and Rachcha, he is starring as a protagonist in Vetri Selvan alongside Radhika Apte. About the start he has got in the industry he says, “No matter what the role is, it must be performed with perfection. That is my policy. Rajini sir and Shah Rukh Khan are my role models. They started their career as villains and now they are superstars.”
Vetri Selvan is being directed by Rudran, and stars Ajmal, Radhika Apte, Mano, Ganja Karuppu and (late) Taruni Sachdev. Mani Sharma is composing the tunes for the film and Ramesh Kumar is helming the camera.
