Actress Khushbu along with other top DMK leaders including party Treasurer MK Stalin, Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi and Dayanidhi Maran, was arrested today. The arrest was made after the DMK leader along with their entire party took to streets to protest against AIADMK’s “oppressive” governance. Thousands of party members were also arrested for the same reason. Police had booked 600 marriage halls to keep all the arrested party members locked.
MK Stalin considered this protest as a massive victory. While talking to the press he said, “Tamil Nadu Government must take cue from the huge turnout in our protest. We demand proper measures to be taken immediately. Otherwise, we will take more serious actions.” Kanimozhi said, “AIADMK has been arresting our leaders for no reasons. This is vendetta politics.”
