Shriya Saran is currently working on Rowthiram with Jiiva and it is nearing completion. She is yet to sign another project in Tamil. However, she has been roped in for a Telugu film with Allari Naresh. He did Kurumbu in Tamil but after that he shifted his focus to the Telugu film industry and is very successful there. 

This film will be a remake of the Hindi film, Deewana Mastana which was released in 1997. It was a David Dhawan comedy with Anil Kapoor and Govinda vying for the affections of Juhi Chawla. Shriya and Allari Naresh have been finalized and the search is on for the other hero.
