The title is no way referential to the Superstar flick of the same name. We felt the title is apt for the story and hence decided upon it.

When I saw Polladhavan, I decided I wanted to make a movie that is based in Chennai. This is the produce of that attempt. But this is not anything like Polladhavan though.

Karthi will replace Suriya from the hearts of Tamil fans after the release of this movie. They are going to love him in this one.
