Producers’ Council, in a meeting held recently, has passed several resolutions. One such resolution is to allow films starring big heroes to release only during the festival days. Further, the Council has requested all stars that are drawing a salary of more than 10 lakhs to reduce it on their own free will in order to bring down the cost of production.
A resolution was also passed to the effect of solving all the remuneration issues plaguing the FEFSI. The meeting was chaired by the President of the Producers’ Council SA Chandrashekar.
