Venkat Prabhu has signed up Anjali to play Vaibhav’s pair in Mankatha. The film has Ajith playing the main lead with Trisha as his on-screen pair. That apart, Venkat has a galaxy of stars including Arjun, Lakshmi Rai, Premji Amaren etc.
On accepting the offer, Anjali says that she never wanted to miss out on such a golden opportunity that gets to star in Ajith’s film so early in her career. Though she will not be paired up opposite Ajith, her presence in the film would suffice, Anjali opines.
