Nayanthara, who had been reclusive for the past few months, was the cynosure of all eyes when she made an entry in the Asianet awards function held at Kochi on Sunday. Nayan, dressed in an Anarkali suit, maintained a dignified presence as she was not seen interacting with her colleagues in the industry. She was present at the awards ceremony to receive the award for Best Actress for her performance in Bodyguard (The original version of Kavalan). She received the award from Vijay, posed for the shutterbugs and vanished into thin air.

Meanwhile, it was a night to remember for fans as the stage saw three living legends come together for a felicitation. Malayalam stars Mohanlal and Mammootty honored the evening's guest of honor Amitabh Bachchan with the Lifetime Achievement award.
