Two Star Screen Awards went to Endhiran – one for special effects and the other for the latest technology used. The awards are presented every year by the Indian Express Group. The award for using the latest technology was presented as a special award by the jury.
It is worth mentioning here that Salman was adjudged the best actor and Vidya Balan as the best actress during this awards ceremony.
Endhiran, directed by Shankar and starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai, turned out to be a blockbuster hit not just in Tamil but in its dubbed versions in Telugu and Hindi too.
