There is not a barrage of movies from Ajith, almost ever. He sticks to the one movie a year policy almost always. Is there a reason for this decision though? Nothing, as it seems, other than Ajith's personal decision to do so.
"I only want to do a movie a year. Regardless of a movie's success or failure, I am not willing to change the decision," Ajith was quoted as saying by a tabloid recently. "Just because Mankatha became a hit I need not go on a signing spree and commit for many movies," he added.
