Renigunta directed by debutant Paneerselvam and featuring Johnny will be dubbed and released in Telugu. The rights have been obtained by Santhosham film magazine who had formerly bought the dubbing rights of the film Kadhal. Promotional activities for the film have already begun.
The film made an impact when it was released in 2009 and it is hoped that the film will receive a good reception among the Telugu audience as well. Tamil films have a track record of success across the border, so the mood is optimistic for this film too. It is expected that the film will be released in the first week of April, right in time for summer vacation.
