Udumban featuring motor biker, Dilip Roger has run into trouble as a court has issued a stay order against the film. A social activist filed a complaint that a monitor lizard, which is on the endangered species list has been illegally captured and used in the film and it was tortured. The hearing will be on February 16th which is bad news for the makers as the film was due for a release on February 10th and had even received a U certificate.

The producer, Jeganathan however is confident that the issue will be resolved as he says that all their actions are above board as they obtained permission from the forestry officials before using the lizard. Ramji S Balan is the director and the female leads are Natchathira and Radhika.
