Mani Ratnam picks the National award winner?

There is a buzz in Kollywood that Mani Ratnam wants to have Thambi Ramaiah in his forthcoming film which has Gautham as the lead star. Thambi Ramaiah won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Mynaa and this is likely to fetch the actor a role in Mani’s film.

The director is on the lookout for a character artiste who can double up as a comedian and he may rope in Thambi Ramaiah for this purpose.
