Director Gautham Menon is a master of variety.
He ventures into the psychological thriller
genre with Nadunisi Naaygal which releases
tomorrow. Here are a few tit-bits about the
team and the movie.
• Sameera Reddy confessed that she was
not scared of knives or guns or four ferocious
dogs chasing her or even when being dunked
into a tub but what scared her to death was
when the character of Veera tries to cut off
her long locks. She admits that losing her
lovely hair is her worst nightmare.
• Leaving no stones unturned to promote
this film, the entire team of NN- Gautham,
Sameera, Deva, Ashwin and Veera were being
interviewed by Actor Babloo. Actor Babloo
and the director go a long way back and Babloo
had worked with Gautham Menon in Vaaranam
Aayiram and the merry team was reminiscing
about Vaaranam Aayiram shoot in which Sameera
had played one of the female leads while Veera
was an assistant director.
• Actor Babloo got cast in Vaaranam
Aayiram after Gautham Menon’s mother
had suggested him after seeing him on television.
Babloo was joking that in order get casted
in Gautham Menon’s film all you have
to do is send a DVD of your work to his mother.
This had everyone in splits and the promotion
event was fun!
