The legendary lyricist Vairamuthu’s novel Thanneer Desam is taking shape as a film. The film is a sea side romantic story. Shivan will be directing the film and Red Earth Movies, a Malaysian based production company is funding the project.
Vairamuthu, apart from penning the lyrics, has also agreed to do the screenplay and dialogues for the film. The film will introduce new faces and a new technical team to the industry. The shoot for the film will begin in early 2013.
