Actor Jayam Ravi took part in a walkathon in Chennai on Sunday that sought to raise awareness for the high incidence of accidents and casualties that occur while people are crossing the railway tracks. Ravi flagged of the event which saw about 500 railway officials, members of the Railway Protection Force and nearly 4000 students in attendance.

Jayam Ravi said that he was happy to do his part for such a noteworthy cause and it was the ideal break for him after his hectic shooting schedule. The actor is currently racing to complete Aadhi Bhagawan, his film with Ameer.
