Shooting for Vijay and AR Murugadoss's film, Thuppaki has begun today in Mumbai. It was supposed to have started on the 5th but for various reasons, it had to be postponed. The first schedule will be completed in Mumbai. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine of this film. The crew is comprised of heavyweights like Santhosh Sivan, Thotta Tharani, and Sreekar Prasad. Harris Jeyaraj will be doing the music.
There have been reports that Vijay is playing a cop in the film but both Vijay and Murugadoss are being highly reticent about plot details. The director has said that he does not like to discuss his films till they are completed and has requested the media to be responsible and not spread unnecessary rumors.
