Theatres to shut down

Theatres across Tamil Nadu will remain closed on December 15th to protest against Kerala’s decision on the Mullai Periyar Dam. This issue is snowballing into a huge controversy with Kerala and Tamil Nadu at loggerheads.

Several protests are being held all over the state by various sections of the society and the Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association has decided to join the bandwagon. All theatres from Chennai to Kanyakumari will remain closed on December 15th as a mark of protest.
