Megastar Chiranjeevi aka Chiru is celebrating his birthday today. He turns 57. Since 1978, he has been having a solid run as an actor and post 2008, he has also shown his acumen in the political scene. As a result, his filmy career has taken a backseat and his last appearance was a cameo in his son's blockbuster movie Magadheera in 2009. As a lead actor Shankar Dada Zindabad was his last movie. His fans are eagerly awaiting his next move with respect to films.

Recently he was also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Filmfare. Behindwoods wishes the mega star a very happy birthday and many more years ahead.
