Alexpandian starring Karthi is Suraj’s fifth outing in Kollywood and the director is on a mission to create an unmatchable reputation for Karthi with this film. The team is going steady with their shooting schedules and the next one will start on 17th August. A major part of the schedule will happen around the airport and the harbour.

The film also has Anushka and Santhanam in pivotal roles. Nikitha, Sanusha, Suman and Prathap Pothen form the rest of the cast list. Milind Soman, who played villain in Karthi starrer Paiyya, is again doing the bad guy in this film. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes and Studio Green is producing the film.
