It has been almost four weeks since Kanchana's release and people still cannot get enough of it. Raghava Lawrence and Sarath Kumar are being praised for their performances. Script wise, the film is simple enough but what worked in the film's favor was the presentation and the fact that comedy, a touch of romance, some sprinkles of glamor, generous doses of horror and blood were all incorporated into it.
Apparently, women are abandoning their TV serials and rushing to the theatres. The reason is that this section of the audience has always been partial to films that have black magic, goddesses, evil villains, and the revenge theme.
Raghava Lawrence has taken all these ingredients thrown in a few new ones and has concocted a fresh dish that everyone seems to love especally women! Kudos to him.
