Mani Ratnam’s favorite art director, Samir Chanda passed away yesterday following a massive heart attack. Samir Chanda was the art director for Mani’s films like Raavan, Guru, and Dil Se.

A very popular art director in Bollywood, Samir has films like Omkara, Rang De Basanti, Krrish, Kaminey and Saat Khoon Maaf to his credit. The entire film industry is shocked with the news of his sudden and untimely death.
