Although
a rarity in Tamil cinema, looks like this year
could well see a few multi starrer projects.
The skeptical Kollywood seems to be on its way
to liberalize the rules on mono-hero worshipping
films. As a result, here’s what we get:
Ajith’s Mankatha opens the account for
multi starrers with an ensemble star cast including
Nagarjuna, Manoj Manchu and Mahath
Tamil remake of the Telugu hit Vedam will have
Bharath and STR starring alongside each other
The Kamal starrer Manmadhan Ambu also has Madhavan
in its lead.
There are strong vibes that 3 idiots will be
remade in Tamil and that opens up scope for
another multi starrer
Muran will have Cheran and Prasanna in the lead
roles
The upcoming Drohi will have Srikanth and Vishnu
(Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu) playing lead roles and
with 3 heroines including Poorna, Poonam and
Pooja.
