Karthika Nair, daughter of Radha makes decisions regarding her career in a very unconventional way. Her first film was Josh in Telugu and it was an average grosser. After a hiatus, she did Ko in Tamil which triumphed at the box office. The Telugu version, Rangam also did extremely well. The actress in a surprising move, chose not to capitalize on her successes and has signed very few films.

The young actor's film with Jr NTR and Trisha, Dammu has taken a good opening and Karthika's winning streak continues. The actress will do Vishal's Madha Gadha Raja next. About her bizarre career moves, Karthika said that she won't sign films just for the sake of it and wants to be associated only with quality films. Besides she is working on a Business degree from a Mumbai based college that is affiliated to the London School of Economics.
