Director Shankar, whose S productions produced some critically acclaimed movies, had momentarily stopped his production ventures after a couple of them failed to generate expected profits. Meanwhile, he also got busy with movies such as Sivaji and Endhiran.
However, he never stopped listening to scripts from directors who showed promise. Now, it is learnt from sources close to the director that he has shown interest in a particular script and will be producing a script. While an official announcement in this regard is expected, news is that Shankar has also expressed interest in remaking Delhi Belly in Tamil.
