Sameera Reddy had the golden opportunity to perform at the IPL venue in Chennai on the inaugural day but the actress couldn’t make it. Sources in Kollywood say that Sameera wanted very badly to perform but her busy schedule did not permit her. The actress is currently in Chennai participating in the shooting of the untitled flick of director Prabhu Deva who was also very accommodative and tried working out a plan to allow Sameera go for the day. But the hectic shooting schedules simply made it impossible.
The actress has said that though she is disappointed at not be able to make it to the IPL inaugural ceremony, she understands that such things do happen in her profession.
