Raktha Charitra is a political drama based on
the real-life incidents that led to the brutal
killing of an Andhra politician.
Kandahar, as the name suggests, is the hijack
story of the Indian Airlines flight directed
by Major Ravi and stars Mohan Lal and Major
Ravi.
Kuppi is a Tamil film that traces the incidents
in the lives of the assassinators after Rajiv
Gandhi’s assassination.
Malayur Mammattiyan, the story of a Salem based
revolutionist, released in the 1980s is being
remade now with Prashanth and Meera Jasmine
in the lea.d The other movies based on the lives
of revolutionaries are Seevalapperi Paandi and
Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi.
