The cast and crew of Deiva Thirumagal are in raptures as their film has been received very well both by the audiences and the critics. All who have seen the film are swearing by it and have admitted that the movie had them in tears. In fact it has been said that grown men are weeping unabashedly on viewing this poignant film about a mentally challenged man’s fight for his daughter.

The residents of tinsel town have also been blown away by film. Celebs have been extravagant in their praise for the film, its cast and crew. This is a sterling tribute to Deiva Thirumagal as it is the surest evidence that the film has done the entire industry proud.

Arya was warmly appreciative of the film and said that it was simply awesome. Jayam Ravi was also brimming over with praise for the effort put in by the cast and crew. He even went on record to say that this is Vikram’s best performance in his career. And given that Vikram is a national award winner with many praiseworthy performances under his belt this is high praise indeed. Ravi said that he was able to identify with Vikram’s character as he is also a father and the film made him proud to be a father. He also congratulated the director for a job well done.

There has been unstinting appreciation for Vikram’s performance in the film but Dhayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies sounded completely overwhelmed when he suggested that Vikram has reached his zenith as an actor. He said that Vikram has proved himself over and over again as a performer par excellence and there is nothing left for him to prove more. Dhayanidhi Alagiri jokingly remarked that in his next film, there will not be much acting for him to do as he has already done it all and done it exceedingly well. He also congratulated the rest of the cast and crew for their contributions.

Udhaynidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies confessed that he had tears in his eyes when he left the theatre after watching the film. He said that Vikram, Anushka, Sara, Santhanam, GV Prakash and Vijay had all done a very good job.

Venkat Prabhu who is currently very busy with Mankatha took time off to see the film everybody was talking about and he conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to the team of Deiva Thirumagal. He said that Vijay had matured with this film and shows a sensibility that is far in advance of his age. Vikram, the noted director said, was exceptional. Jiiva echoed these sentiments and said that the film had been an emotional ride for him. He was particularly enamored with Sara’s performance in the film and said she was the cutest.

Harris Jayaraj in a sporting gesture congratulated fellow composer, GV Prakash for his fine work in the film.

It must be said that it is truly commendable of these celebs to give praise where it is due. Despite playing ball on the same court, these men have proved that there might be healthy competition among them but there are no intense rivalries or petty jealousy. So Behindwoods wishes to convey our heartiest congratulations to the Deiva Thirumagal team for their praiseworthy performances and our commendation to all the celebs who have been generous enough to shower praise on their deserving contemporaries.
