The Burkina Faso government on Monday reportedly said, at least seventeen people have been killed and eight injured in a “terrorist attack” on a restaurant in its capital. Three gunmen arrived at a Turkish restaurant in a pickup truck on Sunday evening and opened fire on customers seated outside, witnesses reportedly said. The nationalities of the victims are yet to be ascertained, say reports. Burkina Faso is a landlocked nation bordering Mali and Niger.
