Will frame new divorce law for Muslims: Govt

The Central government on Monday reportedly said that it would frame a new divorce law for Muslims if Supreme Court bans triple talaq. Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi told a five-judge Constitution bench directed by Chief Justice JS Khehar "If the practice of instant divorce is struck down by the court, then Centre will bring a law to regulate marriage and divorce among the Muslim community."
