Which Indian state spends the most on gold?

According to the data analysis by National Sample Survey Office, the state of Kerala recorded the highest monthly per capita expenditure on gold jewellery and ornaments in India. Reportedly, the state's gold MPCE in the rural sector is Rs 208.55, more than six times the second rank holder Goa's Rs 34.07. Further, Kerala also topped the urban sector with Rs 189.95, four times more than second rank holder Tamil Nadu's Rs 44.86.
