German automaker Volkswagen on Wednesday reportedly launched a new SUV called Tiguan in India. Based on the modular transverse matrix platform, Tiguan is powered by a 2-litre TDI engine that is capable of churning 141 bhp and developing a peak torque of 340 Nm. According to reports, Tiguan has been reportedly launched in two variants - 'Comfortline' variant for the price of Rs. 27.98 lakh and 'Highline' variant for the price of Rs. 31.38 lakh.
