IS leader and spokesperson Abu Mohamed al-Adnani’s death has reportedly been confirmed by the US defence department headquarters, the Pentagon. Adnani was reportedly killed by an US airstrike, on August 30, near the Syrian city of al bab and the press secretary of the pentagon, Peter cook has confirmed that on Monday. He also termed this airstrike to be one of the successful airstrikes against ISIL.
