Twitter announces its first-ever decline in revenue

Social media giant Twitter on Wednesday announced its first revenue decline to $548 million in the first quarter of 2017. Meanwhile, the company's shares reportedly rose by over 10% in pre-market trading as analysts had expected the revenue decline to be much steeper. The company which was founded in 2006 and went public in 2013, has never posted a profit so far.
