TN police uses 'gaana' song to create awareness on road safety

City Police Commissioner A.K. Viswanathan on Tuesday reportedly released a 4-minute long video song, titled ‘Road Safety Awareness for the Public’. The number was penned and sung by popular singer-lyricist 'Gaana' Bala. According to reports, the video of the song was a compilation of various clips of accidents and reckless driving caught on camera whereas the lyric stresses the role of negligence leading to road accidents. The police also announced that they will soon upload the song on social networking sites and video sharing platforms like YouTube and WhatsApp.
