According to reports, Airports Authority of India has started the process of repairing and restructure two airports and one airstrip in Tamil Nadu. According to reports, the airports in Puducherry and Salem and the airstrip in Neyveli are being spruced up as part of its regional air connectivity scheme. The launch operation in these airports is expected to start within two months.
