A man surnamed Liu has reportedly said that the new iPhone 8 Plus, that he bought through an online marketplace, arrived cracked open on Oct. 5, Chinese ThePaper.cn reported. Liu reportedly he did not charge the new device, which bare no sign of scorching or an explosion, and returned it to the seller. Liu reportedly took pictures that show the handset split open along the side featuring the sim card holding, with the phone's internal parts visible.
